Currently the haystack cabins are closed. You can already book for the 2012 season.

Besides staying in apartments, you can also spend the night in in a haystack cabin (Dutch: Hooiberghut). A haystack cabin is a luxurious haystack shaped (backpacker) cabin large enough to accommodate 4 persons. BoerBert has two haystack cabins for rent. In the area are more of those haystack cabins and you can hike from cabin to cabin. The other farms with haystack cabins are listed on www.hooiberghutten.nl (This website is in Dutch, for some sort of translation use i.e. Google Translate). The haystack cabins are for rent from 15th of March until 1st of November.

Haystack cabin € 50,- for the first night and € 45,- for every next night (max. 4 persons)

 

The haystack cabin is equipped with:

• 2 bunk beds with luxurious mattresses, sheets and pillows
• Dining table with 4 seats
• Electric cooker
• Cold running water and lavatory
• Small refrigerator
• Kitchen inventory

In front of the haystack cabin is a terrace with a garden bench and table.
Breakfast is not included but can be reserved. (€ 7,50 per adult and € 5,- per child until 12 years old)

You need to take your own sleeping bag with you, as well as your toiletries and towels to take a shower in the haystack

No smoking or pets allowed in the haystack cabin
Arrival from 3 pm and departure before 12 pm
Before leaving, please clean the haystack cabin and take off the bed sheets.
